First held in 1989, the 'Festival del Sole' has over the years become one of the most eagerly awaited events, attracting thousands of fans and tourists, with a vast and heterogeneous audience.
During the Festival, for an entire week, Riccione becomes an open-air stage where athletes from all over the world perform in a variety of disciplines, from gymnastics to dance, without limits of age or technical level, in large performance arenas by the sea.
Performances range from free body to aerobics, acrobatics, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics to classical and modern dance, and from hip-hop to funky. The 'Festival del Sole' celebrates sport as a moment of sharing and fun, without judges, rankings or age limits, and offers as its only reward the pleasure of participating and the joy of performing. This format, widespread mainly in Northern Europe, makes it a unique event in Italy, loved by the public and participants for its magical and inclusive atmosphere.
The next edition of the 'Festival del Sole' will take place from 29 June to 4 July 2025.
